Don’t comment much, mainly observe…but…It all began when I celebrated New Years Eve with the Abb at the old New Haven Coliseum back in 1980. Only show I’d seen Pegasus played, which I’ve always considered a much underrated selection. The next year Molly Hatchet opened for them in New Haven, and I was definitely hooked. After a few years of Greg with his band and Dickey with his band at various venues, I began my Beacon odysseys in Sept.1989. (They played four nights that run) The next year at Lake Compounce and MSG.The year after Jones Beach. In 1992, the Beacon and my last concert attended at the good ole New Haven Coliseum. 1993, Saratoga. 1994 brought the Mid-Hudson Civic Center.1995, Radio city Music Hall. Then from 1996, I’ve been fortunate enough to see at least two a year at the Beacon (including two shows at United Palace, and seven outdoor shows in Hartford.) Unfortunately, Greg wasn’t present at two of the Beacon shows I attended,, but they were incredible shows all the same, one lasting nearly four hrs. and by no means did I feel cheated, as the musicianship on stage was top notch. It’s been a fantastic run, and this lineup is the best of all I’ve seen. I’ve looked forward to this “right of spring” after long winters here in the Northeast for the better part of 18 yrs.!!! (I apologize, just reminiscing….Grand total, 53 shows) The special guests and outstanding opening acts have always made their shows more of an event then just a great rock concert! I wish the band the very best in health and future endeavors, and----especially----Thank you ----for the experiences, and so many good times as we grew older together. God bless the ABB!!!

I'll be attending my 63rd and 64th shows next week.
I have all my stubs except for 4 I lost. I plan to make some kind of a photo and ticket stub display/shrine once the final show is in the books.
My wife needs to see this thread because she often tells me I don't need to see them again (or more than once a year) because I've seen them enough already. It is never enough!
My first show was 1996 Starlake near Pittsburgh. I first traveled to NYC in 2003 for two Beacon shows (both the shows they recorded for the DVD). My wife and I only had tickets to the 25th. Then on a rainy night at some bar near midtown March 26th I said why don't we go to the show tonight too? Got in a cab, bought two tix at the window and hit our upper balcony seats at the end of the first song. Ever since then I traveled to the Beacon in 04, 05, 07, 09, 11, 13, 14.
Loved the HTW parties at the Beacon Hotel. Not a big fan of the other venues for parties since then, but things change what can you do?
So many great memories I will relive in my mind over and over. In 2007 I stayed in NY for 2 weeks and attended 10 shows. I went to shows with 3 different friends who flew in from Ohio at different times while I was there. What an outstanding experience that was.

I've been to 14 ABB shows, all with the current lineup. Not too bad considering I'm 20. Have also seen Dickey 4 times.

This makes me smile BigMoney
Ensuring the music of our beloved band lives on for another generation!

Here's my list of shows, which grew to 37 because I forgot to include the 2 songs ABB played at Gregg's tribute concer in January. 🙂

Lee, I remember you in CLT in maybe 2006. You had tickets for BigSixPeachHead and were looking for her......
I think.....

Three shows. All at the Greek Theater. Good times!

I've been to 21 shows. I found that number since I have kept track of every concert and setlist of each concert I have been to since I first started going to concerts in the fall of 1997 when I saw phish.
I also have all the ticket stubs for each show I've been to.
I loved each Allmans show, and never lost the magic of hearing them live despite seeing them lots of times.
I'm glad I saw them that many times considering I first started going to shows in the summer of 1999 with my family when I was a Sophomore in highschool, and I would mainly just go to a single or 2-3 summer shows, or maybe that number of summer shows and a Beacon show with friends. I saw them mainly in Eastern PA but went to see them play at Penn State in 08 and had a fun time seeing them in the same building my friend and I graduated from the university in, and they blew the dead away.
My last show was 11/26/11 at the Tower, and I'm glad I saw such an awesome show for my last show. I did not plan for it to be my last show but that's just how it happened.
I saw pretty much every show they played in Camden or Philadelphia, a lot at PNC, a lot of Beacon shows, saw them at SPAC once, and once in New Hampshire.
The last Beacon show I saw was 3/17/11.
After that Beacon tickets became extremely difficult to get and expensive, my friends and I did not want to pay a lot of money to see them play just one set in a day/night at a festival, and I moved to New Mexico so I saved money to do this.
I saw both Dickey Betts and Great Southern, and Gregg both once and they put on great shows.
I would go to see both Dickey or Gregg again but it would have to be a local show either in or near Philadelphia PA, or in Southern NJ.
I miss going to Beacon shows and summer shows and it just does not feel like Spring or Summer at times.

I know that I've seen The Brothers many, many times. I can't put an exact number on it because I did not save all my stubs. I can say , however, with the original lineup being the exception , that I have seen every lineup going back to the 5 man lineup in 1972.

Going back to 1973 I've seen them a lot. Second to the Grateful Dead and Jerry Garcia Band, although Gov't Mule is on track to pass ABB. I'll see TTB at least 7 times this year. If they keep on keeping it interesting I'll keep going to them as well.
