As with the original Blues guys, the Gods of Jazz are disappearing. Sonny Rollins hung and played with all of the jazz greats and legends. Even found time to add a touch of class to the 'Sones, "Waitin' For a Friend".
An aside: I've always thought of Sonny Rollins as the jazz equivalent of Buddy Guy.

One of the true greats. I feel very fortunate that I got to see him live three times. He could blow a horn like NO other..........
