Ran across this via Facebook and then Youtube:  Andy Aledort writes, "Here's an original song/recording from about 15 years ago, and what you are hearing is the first time the guys in the band had ever heard it/played it. I showed them the changes about a minute before we recorded this demo. And thus ensued an insane 19-minute jam that, to me, really captures what the tune is about. Richard Rosch and James Benard in drums, Dennis Metzler on bass and myself on guitar. Hope you dig it!"

I love stuff like that. A long jam but yet still within the structure of a composition. 

This is great listening with very good musicians and the electric guitar is perfect!

Since Andy and Johnny were paying tribute to SRV. Here is the master himself! If he had lived he would have been as famous as Eric Clapton and B. B. King with the blues world.
