I was just reading about Gregg's last concert; it was on 10/29/16. The date seemed familiar and sure enough this was the date Duane died ... in fact it was 45 years to the day off his accident (10/29/1971). The ABB performed their last show marking 45 years of musical history! Does anyone care to guess how old I am???? Yup 45!!!!
I don't believe in numerology or the occult but it sure is an uncanny coincidence, and I am saddened to be reminded that I will never again experience the live power that was the ABB when they were hittin' the note.
