I can't say enough about this young man. He has been at the Crown of The Continent Guitar festival / workshop here the last two years. He embodies the tradition of the masters. He is a huge bundle of positive energy and has it all: the singing, the guitar, and an incredible sense of stage presence. He plays Gibson, oh yes......... and he has Spot On Tone. A rare thing. Ala Dickey in some ways, but more like Albert King, a big happy fat Gibson sound, warm bad..... he has The Tone and if he is this good now, wait (sound like Derek long ago?).... I told him I predicted someday he would play with Derek..... his eyes got huge, he said "I saw him at the Beacon, wow.... I'm not good enough to play with him!" I said he would, he would... I believe he carries the traditional blues torch well. And so young. 20(?) maybe 19....
