Smoking Hot Clapton/Winwood Blues

In the '60s, Elektra released What's Shakin', an LP of artists who had nothing in common with each other. One of the groups was the studio band Eric Clapton and the Powerhouse (Jack Bruce, Steve Winwood [formerly with the Spencer Davis Group], Paul Jones [Manfred Mann's lead singer], Pete York [drummer with the Spencer Davis Group], and Ben Palmer [piano]). They had three songs: "I Want To Know", "Crossroads", and "Steppin' Out". Others were the Lovin' Spoonful, Al Kooper, the Paul Butterfield Blues Band.
It was OK, but I sold it when I lost interest in Eric and learned about Duane.

You know . . . you were allowed to learn about Duane with having to lose interest in EC 😉
