At the risk of bringing out the ire of the current Skynyrd boo birds ... just picked up the new CD/CVD package where Skynyrd plays the first two albums in their entirety. I think it's great. No its not the original band, but they do the music justice. One of the biggest things that stands out is what a great guitarist Gary Rossington was and still is. I'm not so sure if they stay exactly exactly to who plays what, but Gary does the lion share of the heavy lifting in the solo department. And does a great job. Another of great things is getting to hear to hear some of the songs that don't ever get played like "Things Going On" "Mississippi Kid" "Poison Whiskey" "I Need You" "Curtis Loew" "Swamp Music". That alone is worth the price of admission. If you are a fan ... then this is a must. Well played, well recorded, well done. Again IMO your milage may differ. Smile
