Skoots approved, the Eat a Peach Tribute Guitar

Skoots tells the story of our meeting here. He is an amazing guy who has set this whole experience in motion. When I get to Macon to pass off this guitar to the Allman Brothers' Big House Museum, it will go from my hands to his hands first.
"I don't remember exactly when this journey started or even precisely how. I know it was over two years ago that I happened across a photo of the guitar pictured below. I was amazed at the marquetry work and could not fathom the time, skill, and effort required to accomplish such a work of art. It was for sale back then, but after keeping up with the guitar for a year or so it was still available. I decided to contact the artist, Jim Macdonald, hoping I might be able to help with the sale in some way. I really didn't know how, but felt I needed to at least try. As one might expect Jim was a bit skeptical when I called him. When I explained our brother Twiggs' connection to the band I sensed a little relief in Jim's voice. We started throwing around some ideas and eventually, Jim came up with the plan described below. A crowdfunding page to pay Jim for his work and have the guitar find its rightful home at the Big House Museum. It will be there to be played and enjoyed by any and all visitors to the museum. If you have a willingness to make the dream become a reality please help out on the link below. Jim built this guitar as a tribute to the Allman Brothers Band since they had such a profound influence on his life. I feel this guitar may have that same influence on others visiting the Big House. Thank you all in advance for any help you can provide."
