I find Shelby Lynne an intriguing artist. I love her as a vocalist and as a songwriter, at times Dylanesque in style telling stories and painting it with her voice which I find sometimes beautiful and sometimes haunting. She has a movie/album project happening now called Here I Am. She played a few songs off it. It's a nice night out for sure. She has an uptempo full band show and a much more intimate show which is what she brought to town here with Ben Peeler. Ben has a history starting with the band the Mavericks in '91. A nice musician in his own right. He brings it on acoustic and lap steel here.
