Shawn Colvin/Larry Campbell & Teresa Williams @The City Winery, NY 11/6/17

I'm a big fan of Larry Campbell and his multi instrumental skill set. I became familiar with him via Levon's Band and now catch him doing his thing with his wife Teresa and others. He opened and was also lead guitar for Shawn Colvin's band. Shawn is a great talent in her own right. I 1st caught her in '92 at the MSG Bob Dylan tribute when she played a tune with Mary Chapin Carpenter and Rosanne Cash (who's husband John Leventhal also came out for the last few songs of the night playing on his collaborations with Shawn). The Colvin portion of the show focused on her award winning 20th anniversary of her disc A Few Small Repairs playing the whole CD in it's entirety after a version of Tom Petty's Wildflower and closing with a John Leventhal song grouping he and Shawn had worked with. Shawn is a classy and beautiful artist. It was a nice show to witness. Here's some info and videos. Check them out.
