For a brief strange time, pre-internet, like 1990 - 1991, a few of my favorite local watering holes had what were called "video jukeboxes," which were, as you'd guess, jukeboxes that played music videos. Keep in mind that this is pre-Youtube and pre-Tivo/ DVR, so as far as music videos went, you could watch MTV for hours and hope your favorite video would eventually come on, and maybe record it on your VHS, or buy the official VHS release if there was one, or else....not much.

So, when our bars got the video jukeboxes, it was kind of cool. The selection was fairly small BUT one video that ours did play was "Seven Turns" as posted here. Boy, did I play it a lot!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had never seen that either. They look happy! Thanks for posting.

I do remember the first time I heard the song on the radio. I had pretty much given up on the possibility of any new ABB. I tuned in in the middle and thought wow that sounds like DB. Man it sounds like ABB. I wasn't 100% positive until Gregg threw out his vocal response to "Somebody's calling your name.." at which point I may have been as happy as I had ever been to know THEY WERE BACK! And it wasn't hard to tell it was gonna be A WHOLE LOT BETTER THIS TIME THAN THE LAST TIME!

Would never have guessed there would be more time ahead than there had been behind us. WOW!

One of the lesser known tunes in Dickey's awesome catalog, but a great one nonetheless.

That's a neat story.

I have one that I recall. When Where it All Begins came out, I got in touch again with the ABB. I saw them live for the first time in '93. So I am on an expressway in northern Michigan and stop to get gas. At the cash register there's this rotating display of cassettes. Seven Turns was on it. I saw Seven Turns. Had never heard of it. I buy it, rip off the wrapper and pop it into my cassette player (lol). I was close to being sold on the ABB but listening to this sealed the deal. Smile
