Thank You Al, I am glad that Scott was able to be there for Gregg these last few yrs and of course, I enjoyed greatly the handful of times I was able to see them play together.........Peace.........joe

I was fortunate to attend both Gregg Allman Tour NY area shows in 1974 first at Felt Forum then Capitol @ Passaic N.J.
Gregg's solo stuff was different from the "twin guitar" Allman Brothers style in several ways.
Gregg's voice was like the lead instrument. That allowed different style grooves that to me were more soul/r&b influenced.
Saw The Allman Brothers perform at The Moran Theatre in 1998. Then caught the Gregg Allman Band at The Florida Theatre.
Good times.
