Sco Mule to webcast last 2 shows next weekend

[Edited on 3/5/2015 by tbomike]

Sweet!!!

I wish they were offering a package with a higher quality download.
$25 for the two night pass w/out download... is that pricey?
I get a lot of enjoyment when I sit down and commit to the couch tour. I usually pay $25 to get my driveway shoveled. I guess in value per minute this is a good deal... no?

I'll just order the cheaper sd version for $16.99 and will be fine for me.

Question..I will be at the show on Friday..if I order it beforehand, will I be able to watch it at a later date?

I do believe when I was ordering it it said watch live or on demand.

Looks like nugstv will have a Roku channel sometime later this year.
Brad Serling: ... Now, subscription streaming is the next level of the business… which will not just lead to audio streaming, but Netflix-style on-demand concert footage.
Zumic: Tell me about that.
Brad Serling: There’s two different things – there’s subscription streaming of an archive, whether it’s audio or video or both, then there’s concert pay-per-views, which is what nugs.tv has been. Ideally, we want to have something live at least every weekend on nugs.tv, and then when we’re not live have stuff in the can that’s playing on-demand, as well as just a straight-up channel which we are launching, first on Roku, and it will also be on the website. A 24-7 video channel.
Zumic: Is there a timeline to launch?
Brad Serling: It’s up already, it’s just not open to the public yet. We were hoping to launch in time for Lockn, but there were a couple things that got jammed up on the technology side. Now we’re waiting for another event to launch it with, because we want to launch with a bang. We might roll it out sometime in the spring.

I will be at them.

I will be at them.
I'm sure they will be epic! I'm going to stream them.
Hey Doug are you staying for any of Phil's birthday celebration? The 6 day run at the Capitol is quite a week of music.

Stupid question time:
Having never bought a webcast, I am curious:
How many times can I watch it and how long is it available for me to watch?
Can I download it onto anything?
How good is the quality? How much difference between the 2 qualities available?
Thanks and again, sorry for the newbie stupid questions...

My experience is one and done. Sometimes they archive the webcast, like the free ones on Yahoo Live for a day. I expect these are the live stream and that is all.
I've heard of some folks who have software they use to "grab" the stream. I don't have any and don't know how to use it.
I will stream the higher definition. I'll be watching on my computer monitor with headphones for most of the show. I'll probably catch the first set on the big screen through my appleTV, but once the wife goes to bed I'll have to "can" the noise.

If you want to practice a stream you might try this site. It looks like most of their shows are "pay what you want."

On Mule's twitter they said this.
To answer some of your questions about this weekend's stream, you can start the video from the beginning at any time!

And of course one can also get webcast of the Phil and friends show with Warren as well.

Dang. I wish NugsTV had a subscription rate. Looks like I'm dropping more than a Century Note on 6 nights of music.
The wife will be out of town on Wednesday and Thursday. At least I can turn it way up.

My buddies and I have been joking all day how are we supposed to get anything done with Warren dropping this kind of awesomeness in our laps? Seriously now, the final 4 nights of the Mule/Sco consecutively straight into the Phil and Friends with Krasno as his guitar sidekick, a night off then 2 more Phil shows with Barry Sless and who doesn't think he'll play with Soulive as well. The man is insane.

I will be at them.

I cannot 100% answer this. I googled this question about the ipad and here is the best reply I could find. These people did the lockn festival webcast last year and so on that announcement it said this. Hope it helps if no one more savvy comes along.
Watch the webcast on your Mac or PC, iPhone, iPad, most Android devices, or your Apple TV via Airplay.

I wish they had a test video. I'll sign on using my iPad during the intermission to see if it works.

Thanks guys...what the heck...I signed up...will see what happens!

ok waiting for the show....i think this will be much better than indy

Logged in and ready to go.
