After listening to this, I have come to the conclusion that Jimmy Herring is John Scofield. Scofield has definitely rubbed off on Jimmy Herring. I'm still not convinced that first solo isn't Herring.

The first solo is Herring. Jimmy guested on a couple songs both Sco-Mule nights - including Devil. Sco is the second solo.

Just got these discs - outrageous!
My wife surprised me with a pair of tix for the Orpheum show.
