The day after my birthday! And a great show too. Sort of like a mini Woodstock.
Miles Davis also performed as well as Voices of East Harlem. Their sets are also is available on Youtube.

Bill Graham had several other shows at Tanglewood in 1969 and 1970 including The Who, Jefferson Aeroplane, It's A Beautiful Day, Jethro Tull, Chicago, John Sebastian

I've had this show for a while. Might be the best original Santana band bootleg out there. This show is TOP Shelf!

Now that is Santana. Not the version that released the Santana 4. Those guys ruled and I wish there were more of those shows around.

Thanks to a buddy of mine who knows how to take a show off of Wolfgang's Vault, save it, then burn it to DVD, I have this show on DVD.

It absolutely SMOKES from start to finish. Well worth checking out. The original Santana band was just on another level.

Actually, this lineup (which was also at Woodstock) was NOT the original lineup! When the band formed in 1966, these musicians were in the band:

Marcus Malone – percussion (1966–1969)
Tom Fraser – guitars (1966–1967)
Gus Rodriguez - bass (1966–1967)
Rod Harper - drums (1966–1967)
