I am sure some do, but it looked pretty impressive to me.

I was looking up some info on Rush's Snakes and Arrows tour and was amazed how many shows they played when the 2007 and 2008 tour. Talk about Road Warriors!

I think I am pretty accurate on these numbers but correct me if I am wrong.

2007 leg
The played 64 dates in 134 days . So roughly about every other night

2008 leg
49 dates in 104 days, so about the same, every other night.

The tour was Rush's most successful to date, grossing nearly $65 million. At 114 shows, it is Rush's second-longest tour, after the Hemispheres tour.

Granted there are some bands that do hit it pretty hard, but I was just really surprised and how long they toured during that period. Did not realize it at the time.

The wiki page gives some more facts about it as far as Capacity/Attendance/Gross for each venue.

On a side note I was listening to Eddie Trunk interview Kenny Arnoff the other day (good piece and check it out if you can). Kenny was talking about his relationship with Neil, sounded pretty cool . I think we all know Rush is pretty much done , but I guess you never say never. But from what Ed said it sounds like Neil has pretty much put down the drum sticks for good . I don't know a lot about him ,but he seems like the type of person when he says he is done , he's done.

My most recent Rush show was the R40 tour, loved it.

That is the show where their setlist and stage setup was reverse chronological.

They started with newer material and slowly went back in time, changing the stage to also look like it did in tours gone by.

By the time they got to Working Man, the stage resembled a high school gymnasium, pretty cool concept.

First set
"The World Is...The World Is" (video introduction)

"The Anarchist"
"Clockwork Angels" or "The Wreckers"
"Headlong Flight" and "Drumbastica" (Neil Peart drum solo)
"Far Cry"
"The Main Monkey Business"
"One Little Victory" or "How It Is"
"Animate"
"Roll the Bones"
"Distant Early Warning" or "Between the Wheels"
"Losing It"
"Subdivisions"

Second set
"No Country for Old Hens" (video introduction)

"Tom Sawyer"
"Red Barchetta", "The Camera Eye" or "YYZ"
"The Spirit of Radio"
"Natural Science"
"Jacob's Ladder"
"Cygnus X-1
I. "Hemispheres" (Prelude)
II. "The Voyage"
1. "Prologue"
2. "Part I"
3. "The Story So Far" (Neil Peart drum solo)
4. "Part III"
"Closer to the Heart"
"Xanadu"
"2112"
I. "Overture"
II. "The Temples of Syrinx"
III. "Presentation"
IV. "Grand Finale"

Encore
"Mel's Rock Pile" starring Eugene Levy (video introduction)

"Lakeside Park"
"Anthem"
"What You're Doing"
"Working Man" featuring intro excerpt of "Garden Road"
"Exit Stage Left" (video outro)
