roy harper and jimmy page

Beautiful. Thanks. Did they make a record ?

That video is from 1984? Jimmy and Roy did do an album around then called "Whatever Happened to Jugula?" I'm not sure it came out on CD; I had it on vinyl. I wasn't knocked out by it. It was kind of rambly. I didn't find much of Jimmy's 1980s work very compelling.
It looks like there are some much more recent videos of those 2 playing together again, in the YouTube links on the side of that video.

have the jugula album on cd, vinyl and even used to have it on cassette. It is worth having if you are a fan of harper and/or page.

nice to see the enigmatic Harper doing something with Jimmy. Fascinating to hear them talk back then. Never knew Jimmy Page put his guitar away for a year & a half.

I recall reading in Hammer of the Gods, how Jimmy Page had more of a pastoral Pentangle, British Folk Rock thing in mind when starting Zeppelin, and his favorite sound at the time was Joni Mitchell, then when Zeppelin got together for the first time it just made up its own mind, and wham, power blues.
