Today would have been RVZs 67th birthday. What could have been. Will always be remembered as one of the greatest frontmen in rock and roll history, RIP Whiskey Rock n Roller....

Ronnie's birthday is actually January 15 same as Martin Luther King's. I should know it's my birthday too. 
And yes he's one of rock's great singer/songwriter/frontmen ... certainly one of my favorites. 😉

RIP Ronnie. I had the good fortune to see you at The Academy of Music in NYC @ '74 or '75. It was a great show - Charlie Daniels opened - and you paid serious respect to Brother Duane by saying he was the best ever and you said it often. And you were right !
