The Rolling Stones have announced dates for the No Filter tour that will bring them to the U.K. and Europe from May to July.
It's the band's first run of U.K. dates in five years. Pre-sale tickets for most of the 11 stadium shows starts on Feb. 27, with sales for the Dublin, France and Czech Republic shows to follow. General sales begin on March 2. You can see the full list of dates below.
The Stones won a Grammy last month for their return-to-roots LP Blue & Lonesome in the Best Traditional Blues Album category. It was their third-ever Grammy, not including a Lifetime Achievement Award. A few weeks earlier, Billboard listed Blue & Lonesome as the ninth-biggest album of 2017. The covers set came about by accident as the band prepared to record an album of new original songs; they'd become distracted during the sessions by playing some of their favorite older tunes instead.
The original record remains on hold. Singer Mick Jagger had noted they had only “half an album” of material recorded. ”It’s like putting it on top of the strainer and seeing what soaks through by the time you come back to them again," guitarist Ron Wood said. "The lumps that are left on top after time has gone by, that’s what you make your dough out of. It wouldn’t surprise me if we recut them all again. It’s one of those things."
The Stones have now been in business for 56 years, but guitarist Keith Richards wrote on the band’s Twitter account that they “haven’t finished yet. It’s still too early to talk about the Stones’ legacy. There’s one thing that we haven’t yet achieved and that’s to really find out how long you can do this. It’s still such a joy to play with this band that you can’t really let go of it.”

I love the Stones, but it would take a lot for me to pony up the cash to see them again. I'd want new studio material and a drastically revamped setlist. Plus Mick Taylor. Lol.
Even then, I wouldn't break my piggy bank to see them.

I agree. This is looking like a big summer for the "classic rock" bands that are pairing up for tours.
Its just hard for me to go and here the same old same old that has been pounded out for 30- plus yrs.
It might be okay for some, but to pay that money, hear a tired radio friendly set list get in and out of the venue, no thanks. I understand why the play what they do, but anyways....I guess I am getting old!! 😛 😉

I would love to see the Stones again but I have in my mind what tickets are going to cost and I'm not willing to go there.
That said, I think it's QUITE amazing that at 77 years old Charlie Watts can still pound the skins and pound them well for a two hour set.

Legend or not, I feel the same way about the Dickey Betts tour
For my money, the Stones are still one of the best bands to grace the stage. Their line-up hasn't changed too drastically from the beginning and they have an awesome backup entourage (Lisa Fischer, Blondie Chapman, Chuck Levell, etc.) Sure I could do without Satisfaction and a few others, but each tour they seem to throw in some great choices for those of us who continue to go see them. They just did an album of blues classics. Keith Richards is still the baddest MF to EVER strap on a guitar. Google the time he pulled a knife on Trump! And Mick wrote the book on how to front a band. And yes, Charlie isn't flashy, but he keeps the beat as good as anyone ever did. I've seen them on almost every tour, starting from the Tattoo You tour in '81 and they always bring it, warts and all. And as for ticket prices, go stand outside and get a cheap ticket. It works for me.

Right On! Spinning B & L as I type this. Love The Stones but I've seen them 4 times. Tickets are expensive and fortunately, lots of Stones cover bands out there. That being said, if they come out So Cal way again, WTH
