Well, I had tickets, but my 92 year old mother-in-law, who refused to use a walker, fell and broke her leg, thus causing us to have to cancel our trip to NY from VA. I too was looking forward to some great food and seeing friends. Fortunately I was able to sell my tickets. Hope everyone that goes enjoys the show.

Devon Allmän Project was great last night and should rock Wednesday!
I have seen Devon many times starting HoneyTribe, guesting with ABB and also his the Southern Brotherhood. I enjoyed his guitar playing best last night and look forward to more.
I was thinking about coming later to skip Marshall Tucker Band but now I gotta get in more Devon!

Got my tix, but not sure if I can make it - will be a last minute call.

I'll be there. I'll be wearing my Mule shirt I got in Australia this spring.

I will be there. Probably wearing a yellow Stax shirt I bought in Memphis last week. Really excited for this show. Usually with a three band lineup there is one or two bands I do not want to see but that is not the case here.

Happy to see Dickey after not being able to see him at the show in Boca Raton that was postponed due to the weather. Last time I saw Dickey was the last time he performed in NYC about 10 blocks away.

Looking forward to seeing Devon and Duane and oddly fascinated to see what is left of the Marshall Tucker band which potentially could be a highway crash. But I am willing to give them a chance.

Should be a memorable show.

I too am excited to see the Devon / Duane Betts band.

It has been a number of years since I saw MTB. I expect the playing to be enjoyable, but Doug has problems with his voice. I believe he may've had another procedure after I saw them last so hopefully he is doing well and enjoying himself. Would be cool if Dickey came out to play on a song!

How long do we think Dickey will play? With 3 bands to fit in it can't be too long I'd guess. 75-90?

I have long maintained that firing Dickey and going with the last incarnation of the ABB kept them doing 2 1/2 shows with an intermission, rather than ending up as a 75 minute Westbury Band. That said my prediction is 75 minutes max.

A fan posted on Facebook a photo of the 7/15/18 setlist. It was for at least a 90 minute set but unfortunately the venue didn't let Dickey play past 10:30 ( one hour) so the band had to make quick adjustments.
I think tonight will be a blast and we will get plenty of Dickey's signature sound.
Not sure but will probably be wearing my brown Honeytribe shirt.

NYC an experience from MT world, looking forward to show tonight. Not the old days of Beacon madness, times change. I,'ll be surprised if I see anyone I know.. I will be wearing clothes, and look the same but different, ha.

My brother is critical old dead head who usually focuses on the negative aspects of a show. He was at South Bay and said Dickey sounded really good but the sound of the PA was too low so people were upset. If you went up front it was a good show for a guy in his 70's. He said the band does the heavy lifting then dickey peppers in his signature sound and tone that nobody else can replicate so it's well worth checking out.
He also said Devon and Duane were great.
I'm heading up to the beacon after work to try and score a ticket and see Dickey back in that great room again.

Will be there with my dad wearing a peach Music festival t shirt in row c orch. Hope to see some of u folks there.

Bird, it certainly isn't the ole days of the Beacon Craziness BUT it feels good to be going to church one more time to see the MAN!

LOL, plane delayed now 2 hours. Hasn't left NYC yet. I guess the plane was damaged. We had an 11am takeoff that has been moved to 1pm. There is another flight out at 3pm, LOL

Ok plane is on the way from nyc to indy, should be here at 130pm, i'll be in nyc by 330

Plane is in the air. It will be here at 206 and leave at 230 and arrive at 430? Lol then a ride on the tarmac for at least 30 mins and another 30 walking thru the airport. A 1 hr cab ride. Check into hotel...30 mins. No time for dinner.

should be a perfect show-no weather conditions to worry about,perfect venue & sound,best crowds ever,and he & the band has warmed up & rehearsed to peak performance by now.

I ended up missing him in Boca Sunshinefest 2 years ago as he cancelled,missed him again in Boca this year as show was postponed, but this one should be perfect.

Dare I say we are all feeling that old Beacon fever!!!!
