How can you have a "Village Voice" if you don't have a village?
Manhattan is now a homogeneous mix of mostly stuff I don't care for...
I prefer the 1970's version.
Odds were 50/50 you'd get stabbed if you went south of 14th St. after a show at The Academy of Music.
