@rusty I remember Baby It's You by Smith very well. It was on the Top 40 stations in regular rotation in 1969 I believe it was. Huge hit. I'm sure it sold over a million copies so Smith was headlining on the strength of that. 

The singer eventually went solo with a few albums. Remember reading about her death at about 68 years of age I think from lung cancer around 10 years ago.

So sorry to hear.  Never had the pleasure of meeting him but always enjoyed his posts.  It was so obvious how much he adored the ABB.

I know Hophead was worried when this happened. It was reported on a college campus FM station I listened to back then.
