RIP Homeboy Steve

Word is that Homeboy Steve, known here as "homeboy", passed due to COVID-19. Can't say I knew him well, but definitely chatted here and I know a lot of NYC folks saw him play around town and knew his huge love for this band.

honestly can't say i remember that user name

R.I.P. Homeboy

Homeboy was so on it when it came to things about Duane. RIP my Brother you will be soooooooo missed.

Thx for the great vines homeboy - it was his Watkins Glen vine that first drew me here.

Devastating loss. Only met him once or twice. communicated with him all the time. this MFer loved Duane.
I started drinking tequila when i heard about this... It's really bad in New York and environs, guys. He's just a number, but he's so much more. No one is a number, and every number is a someone.

every number is a someone
That's beautiful. Hey, careful with that tequila, man! it can sneak up on you with a stick and turn your skull into a piñata.

yeah. thanks man. going to bed before I get into trouble online.

RIP Homeboy Steve.
Really turning rough now.
EMS and NYPD getting infected.
Stay tough NYC.

Heartbroken to hear 🙁
One of my favourite people I’ve met through the here and the Allmans scene.
I’m going to spin up some Duane for him

I’ve never played this record before, as it’s a bit special because of the signatures. It’s getting played today though.

Sad news … always enjoyed our exchanges regarding Duane era recordings on here … R.I.P. Stephen Antonakos …

Damn.
Very disheartened to hear this news. Such a shame.
I never had the honor of meeting Steve in person, wish I had. His posts and PMs were always very thoughtful and genuine. A true lover of Duane and the original lineup.
Rest In Peace Homeboy.
"Is that a real poncho or is that a Sears poncho?"

Oh that sucks
I've been numb the last 2 days
yes, every number is a someone.
RIP
