I thought The Last Rebel was really good. Maybe not great, but really solid. When that came out I hadn't really listened to them more than what was on radio at the time. Then I bought that live one they released in 1987.

Really got back into them. Dug into their deep stuff, things I had never heard.

Saw one of Leon Wilkenson's last shows before his passing. They were (are) a great band.


Everything in Moderation. Including Moderation.

I enjoyed those records and the acoustic one after “Rebel” too. Seen that tour in 94. I agree they weren’t as strong as the first ones.

Ed was fun to watch.

I had Vicious Cycles cranking last week, A strong disc with Hughie Thomasson. I remember seeing the tour in NYC and Hughie mostly played the Ed King parts inc an extended intro to Sweet Home Alabama. Great stuff.
