Paul McCartney might've made his biggest mark with his previous band, but Wings were a tour de force!  While Maca's most recent band is a real fine bunch of players, for me - they're really a tight Beatles cover band (no offense intended).  Wings was an incredible band and Denny Laine was a major component.  Back to the Egg, Band on the Run, London Town - just a few of the records that Denny left his indelible mark on.

RIP Denny.

RIP Denny - gosh I never knew Go Now was a cover for the Moodies - he was great & co wrote Wings’ biggest song in Britain, Mull of Kintyre

RIP Jean Knight, will never tire of Mr Big Stuff, what a beat & bass line - Stax forever

RIP Henry Kissinger, pre eminent US statesman, key in getting us out of Viet Nam

RIP Sandra Day O’Connor, pioneering trailblazing Supreme Court justice

RIP Roslyn Carter - 77 years of marriage - Jimmy made her funeral - what love

RIP Norman Lear, at age 101 - the show he produced, All in the Family, was simply a gem & a go-to guide in how ALL people can get along - w/humor

As you said bro, Denny Laine, Paul & Linda were a real tour de force🎼🎶

While he was a founding member of the Moody Blues, Go Now is not representative of the bands work. After Justin and John joined the band, they went in a completely different direction. Mike Pinder, an original member, was an integral part of the new direction, and is a very under appreciated contributor. Mike became a born again Christian and choose to remove himself from the lifestyle he knew was not in sync with his beliefs. Having seen them at least ten times, I can assure whomever did not see them live, you missed a wonderful evening of music. In particular after the Mellotron was replaced with a synthesizer. The Mellotron had difficulties from night to night.

To Our Children’s Children’s Children, just one xmpl of brilliance in change of direction - it’s simply a part of my DNA, same (almost) Every Good Boy & 7th Sojourn

glad they decided to chart a new course - Denny (RIP bro) couldn’t’ve had any qualms later on after hearing how different & well received it was🎶🎼
