Thank you for posting jazzfunk. I really enjoyed this. I've never been a huge fan of Ricky as a person and maybe unfairly so. There is certainly no denying his musicality. He certainly has been at the forefront of Bluegrass since the 70's (80's?) and his recent collaborations with Hornsby have shown he can take this stuff into some pleasant uncharted territory. On this tune I especially enjoyed the Moroccan flute (or was it a bag pipe sounding like a Moroccan flute?). It reminded me of "Can You Hear The Music" off Goats Head Soup by the Stones, my favorite album of theirs.
