I've already shared my first set of tubs story here. Thought it might be fun to go a bit further down the road?
1977, I was riding my skateboard in the neighborhood and rolled up on some older dudes jamming in the garage. They were trying to dial in "Carry On Wayward Son" and the drummer kept dropping it in various places. I have him some advice and was dismissed. Dude had a sweet 26" Zildji ride and I had a proposal....jump on the tubs and play it right and get the cymbal or give him my sister 's #. Needless to say,I rode off with a new ride.
Anyone else got some similar stories?
