Thanks for the vids, Ritchie even smiled near the end of Burn, are they making a professional released dvd?

Thanks for posting these Scott, I sent them out to 10 buddies. Powerful stuff.

As steadyhorse said, Ritchie even smiled a couple of times during Burn, the first at the 5:30 mark. Rare to see that! Shows he's having a good time. I'd give my left nut to have a voice like his new singer, Ronnie Romero.

I don't go to many concerts anymore at all (only clubs shows pretty much). But I have to admit that this peaks my interest should Blackmore decide to bring it to the U.S.

Glad you liked Rob. I have been pretty stoked watching these clips. It is very cool to see and hear Ritchie doing his rock thing again. All of his melodic nuances such as fills, bends , and just a little touch here and there remind me of how great and one of the bests Ritchie is. You are right about him smiling. He has done that in a few other clips ,like during LLRNR from Birmingham. He seems to be enjoying himself. I would like to see other shows, but I am not sure how much Rainbow would translate into the American market. Maybe a small tour of large cities ,mid size theaters might work. I would like to hear him do some stuff with Hughes and maybe Coverdale, but Dave's voice is shot.

Yeah I agree about Ronnie the vocalist.. that dude can freaking sing! Ritchie made a good call on that one.

Agreed. I think there are enough people around 40+ who would remember Rainbow to support a tour of 5,000 seat theatres in large cities. Then factor in all the old Purple fans like myself.......
