Prices dropping on StubHub now

You can get Orchestra and Loge for under face right now! $150 for Loge and $120 for Orchestra.

These tickets - if sold will most likely go to New Yorkers or people who were already in the city at show time.
I won't go into my full diatribe/whine about scalpers (corporate and street corner), but there are economic consequences.
Tonight and throughout this run there are people like myself sitting on their living room sofas in their hometowns who got shutout in the presale and general sale.
These folks would have put money into airlines, hotels, restaurants, museums, bars and other establishments. But folks who had better TicketMaster savy scarfed these tickets up for resale.
If they made money - I guess that's good for them. But this late in the game - so many of these tickets will wind up going to people who will not be putting money into the NYC (or airlines) economy. Bars will see some action and restaurants might see good business at show time - losing out on breakfast and lunch. These home-town ticket buyers will not be helping out certain businesses who would have reaped benefit from an influx of out of towners.
Personally, I hope a lot of scalpers eat a lot of paper!
I do hope that everyone who got tickets - by whatever means - enjoys what will surely be a run of fantastic shows!

My daughter downloaded the stub hub app to her phone. A few minutes after the Browns game started she bought two tickets and they send the code to her phone.
They scanned her phone at the game and she went right in. She did not have to go anywhere to pick them up

As I said in the other thread, the stubhub app would not work in this case.

LOGE going for $70 now on stubhub. Awesome ! I am going to take a short walk, see you there ! yeehah

I kinda expected something like this would happen. Not confident enough to gamble on airfare and hotel after getting skunked on the sale dates, but I certainly imagined it. Enjoy the show! Take THAT, scalpers! 😉

Can you just show up at 1440 Broadway at stubhub and buy them there ????? Or is the only way is to go online.... ???

you need to pick them up at Broadway ! Balcony at $50 right now !

Can you buy on Broadway or just pick up?

4 7th row orchestra for $170.

Only pick up. You have to buy on Stubhub.com then go there with your credit card, ID, and a print out of your confirmation.
I hope the same fire sale happens tomorrow because I will go. You could have gotten into the building for $50 tonight if you didn't care where your seat was.

So, maybe I could hold out and buy from the business center at the hotel then walk to the pick up location...

Update...The answer was posted before I could hit submit and ask...thanks to everyone for the information.
Question - The wife and I are coming in from Alabama for the 10/28 showed (lucky enough to get a pair during pre-sale). I told the wife we will go to the Beacon on the 27th and see if we can score a cheap pair of tickets. How does the stubhub on Broadway work? Do you just show up there and see what is available.
I don't usually do the scalper thing because I don't want to support the industry, but buying a ticket for less than they paid for another ABB show...I could live with that.

Like I said before, I don't think you can actually buy tickets at the StubHub on Broadway. I think you can only pick up tickets you purchased through the website. The StubHub website says only pick up. From the StubHub website:
What you need to bring:
Your StubHub order number or confirmation email
A valid photo ID
The credit or debit card you used to purchase the tickets
In most cases, the Last Minute Service Centers open 3 hours before the start of an event and stay open until 30 minutes after the event begins. Please refer to your pick up instructions for specific times.
