I’m hosting a preshow gathering Sat at the Ga Terrace at 6pm before the TTB show at the Fox. I’ll drop by here on Sat afternoon after check in to post the suite number. Should be a great, but bittersweet weekend... with my first shows since Kofi passed and the first shows back in Atlanta where Kofi put down roots nearly 30 years ago.

Wish I could join you Tim. Only time I was there was for the 2004 ABB Fox run which believe it or not, was even better than any Beacon show I've seen. That weekend was so much fun. Maybe when they come to Chicago next winter for this new annual thing they are doing we could set something up here. Have fun!

Review of Sat (& Fri) ??
wish I could have made it, but was not to be this time. cool they busted out some Soul Sacrifice to open up the run on Fri. a tip of the hat to the Woodstock 50th anniversary.
Looking at the pics of Carlos from the Woodstock set, you can totally see the crazy eyes from the peyote button(s) Jerry Garcia talked him into taking, claiming Santana was going on much later in the program. Poor Carlos then finds out he's going on quite earlier, and rides the waves of psychedelic bliss into history with an amazing set. Far out man...
