I paid $127.10 for a single at the Warner Theater. $50 less than the ABB at the Beacon. Last time I saw him he had an 11 piece band. The sound was incredibly warm and articulated.

Less money than the Who or Fleetwood Mac both are playing the Verizon Center. Less than Stevie Wonder also playing much larger venues.

In my mind this is money well spent.

$173.10 at the Count Basie at Redbank. I saw the Allman Brothers Band TWICE at the Beacon in March for about the same.

Hey man, thanks again for the heads up ! I went ahead and snagged two for Clearwater, FL.

If you hadn't let us know, I may not have heard of this until it was too late, so thanks again !

Thanks for the heads-up!

I got tickets for the St. Augustine, FL show (Oct. 27)- closest to my home. The tickets are sold (pre-sale at least) through the Mark Knopfler store. Site-unseen - promise to be rows A- J 1-3, whatever that means.

Any peachies from the St. Augie area?

Thanks, Billy!

The pre-sale thing not only gets you his latest CD, but somewhere in the process I swear I saw something about "access to live shows and other stuff on his website"

Anyone else see that? I don't see anything about it now.

Patiently awaiting my turn for Chastain's TBA tix. In the words of the VP, "this is a big effin' deal!"

I hope to get tickets to Chastain, however if they are the prices listed above I will have to pass.

Knopfler is great, but I'm afraid there will be a lot of empty seats on this tour at those prices.

Most of the shows are in smaller theatres that should get a premium (and I wish Mark was going to be at the Fox). I expect Chastain to line up w/ Red Rocks prices:

"Reserved tickets are $45.00 - $89.50 plus applicable service charges."

Maybe add $10 to each end of the range for Chastain.

I hope it is at the Red Rocks price, if that is the case then I'm in.

Looks like you're in! $55.50 to $85.50 + fees:

The Dan/Costello show looks good too.

Awesome, I can live with those prices.

Hopefully the Steely Dan/Elvis Costello show is a co-headliner with Elvis getting equal time.

I'd really like to see him, but it seems like a high price for listening to a bunch of songs I've never heard.

It looks like he barely plays any Dire Straits stuff.

He probably won't play much, if any, Dire Straits stuff. They disbanded long ago and he has continued with a successful and prolific career. I saw him about two years ago and certainly was not disappointed. I expect he will have a large band of very talented musicians and will put on one of the best shows of 2015.

Thank you for thread! I was just playing Dire Straits debut album and thinking how I never have seen him and would like to. I have Red Rocks, or closer Portland and Washington options. The winery sounds good Smile
