This is tm's new waiting room system. It is horrible and I pretty much knew this would go like this this morning.

Took me 20 mins to get in, nosebleeds were 99.00 plus, first few rows of the upper level were 189.00 floor was 200 plus, hey if this was the Beacon I could understand, but I am passing on this...good luck, I will stick with the Allman Family Revival, to get my fix, that show was excellent

$934 all in for a pair. I don't golf or do anything else. This is my indulgence.

That process was a horrible experience. The queue was BS, as I was on 10 minutes before presale and the person next to me got on 5 minutes later and was ahead of me. Tickets were already sold out when I got on, started clicking random stuff and it said something about a VIP ticket. Got some kind of ticket for 350ish...

I figured "better safe than sorry," and went ahead and bought tickets in section 210 for 100 bucks each, 125 each after expenses.

While it is possible I could go into the city and scalp that night to get better seats or cheaper tickets, I figured I would just go with the sure thing.

Yep, I got one of the $50 tickets all the way up top to make sure I'm in. Will wait and see what the secondary market brings close to game time.

I do believe that there will be bargains to be had around March 9th. I think people that do not truly know the Allman Brothers market are overbuying extremely high-priced tickets that will benefit those of us who are lucky enough to be close enough to take advantage come early March.

after an hour of clicking blue dots only to be beaten by another fan, now this second hour is nothing but Error code 0002. I try on the computer. I try on the phone. Error codes galore

applenut, Yes I bought the ticket (total was like 370$). I saw that it was right next to the board, and was some kind of VIP. Figured if I was flying up there just for this event that I might as well get a seat I wanted and not have to look for the same thing on Stubhub at a higher cost in a month.

sigh, this is why dynamic pricing exists.

seriously, you could have gotten that same ticket for it's actual price ($249) by just waiting 5 minutes.

There is also zero chance that sells for more money on stub hub in a month.

Yea applenut, you're probably right. But I don't trust that website, company, or availability of tickets to wait...when so many times I've waited and gotten $%#&#d. I don't live in the area, and am flying up just for this and possibly a business meeting or 2. For $100 more and a random poster and merch thrown in (that I don't have to stand in line for), I'll take it. Smile Hell in that city I'll just eat 1 less good meal and get the $100 back hah

I would too Skydog, i think 250 will get you lower level, as someone mentioned. I like getting close to the board for sound. Being we're not sure if we'll ever see this group again, in any setting, I was cool with it.

This was a tough one to swallow. I got into TM in this morning and was surprised by the prices for tickets. Looked at the 179 dollar tickets and every time I would buy one it would be 292 w/TM surcharge and did not understand it until I realized it was dynamic pricing. This happened several times, Alright, I get dynamic pricing but not when you are checking out at a different price. I said screw this and headed to the gym.

At the gym, I kept on looking and was getting 002 error messages. I I decided screw it and I would go with the 99 dollar ticket, I just could not swallow paying 3 bills for this. Tried for an hour and kept on getting the message. Finally called TM and got a ticket in the 200’s for $125 with the surcharge.

I was going to be in NYC for several days and figured I could not pass this up. Will try to upgrade as the show gets closer.

never heard of dynamic pricing but I got my ticket for 189+fees. and looked a little while later just for the hell of it to see what tickets were still available and same seats are went up to 269+fees. sounds like bs to me

For sure. I get it. I just hate seeing ticketmaster succeed with this BS.

FYI, I just checked and found seats next to the soundboard for $269.

Nothing seems logical, fair, or surprises me when it comes to Ticket Master or Live Nation. Its all a racket when it comes down to it.

There was a lot of demand because this was the first day of presales so I expected dynamic pricing. But this is the first time that when I was about to pay, 5e ticket went up 60 bucks before, and let me emphasize, before the surcharge.

What I have learned is that my complaining is not going to do a damn thing. But I have the choice to decide how much I want to pay. I

I sympathize with those having sticker shock but what were you expecting as far as ticket prices were concerned? This is not a Govt Mule Theater show where you can still get tickets in the first 10 rows for under $ 100. This is a one-off reunion/ tribute anniversary show of a legendary band at MSG so of course tickets are going to be expensive.

In all honesty, I am actually surprised they are not more expensive when you compare it to big name classic rock acts like the Stones, Eagles, Fleetwood Mac etc. For those band floor seats would be $500+

Bands do not make any money off of selling their music anymore, with it all available free on the internet, as they make it playing live so welcome to the new music industry model.
