I realize this is totally subjective.

But this is my vote for the Best Song in the World, Ever...

Hard to argue w/ your choice Don, but I will anyway! I think Hello in There is Prine's finest. I finally got to see him last month and he did each, but his little speech preceding Hello really hit me. He said that at gatherings as a child he would gravitate toward the old people, "cause I figured they knew something." And he said that his goal when he grew up was to be an old person, then points to himself and says "voila!"

But I have to give the nod of best song to Townes Van Zandt, Tecumseh Valley:
