have enjoyed this a few times, & Thanks Bill, hadn't seen this before, awesome -- agreed, possibly their greatest obscurity along w/Only A Northern Song, The Inner Light, You Know My Name,Look Up The Number etc

Have this one on the Yellow Sub. soundtrack -- one side is George Martin's classical music, the other begins w/YSubmarine, wnds w/AYNIsLove, & HeyBldg, Northern Song etc in between -- vinyl rules

its a great one no doubt.
There was some question as to who played the lead break; George or John and my vote is that it is John.
Thanks for the post.

My theory on Beatles guitar solos is that after they stopped touring and their music progressed is that Paul played the majority of them.

One of my faves, as well. My band used to cover this. It was originally "Hey Bullfrog", but they changed it when Paul barked during the recording! My theory: It was "Hey, Bull$hit" and they couldn't get away with saying that on a record at the time. Any song I get to bark on, I like playing, lol!
