Just curious if any of the good people of this webiste are into podcast's or have done any podcasting themselves. I myself, listen to quite a few of them , and for the most part they are all about music.

Hopefully in the near future, I am going to be venturing into the world of doing my own. In the last few months I have been doing a little research and reaching out to some folks who do them to get some pointers. So I will be starting from the ground up on all aspects of it. I am sure there will be a big learning curve.

I was just seeing if anyone on here had insight or experince in this area who could give some direction,thoughts,ideas and etc...

I have two ideas brewing. Both would revolve around music. One is going to be a band dedicated. The other one revolve around RNR and probably will bracnh off into other genres of music. At this point I am doing it and hosting it solo. Not because I want to, but just have not found the right person or group of people who would want to.

I am just floating this out there, but I was just seeing if any you folks might be interested in coming on during various episodes to talk and discuss certain topics. I just feel there is such a deep knowledgeable base of people on this website who really would be great to have on and share their viewpoint, opinions and so forth to the shows. I could talk all day about music, and I know on this site others share the same passion that I do.

I am not sure when this is going to happen. I could start in the next few weeks ,few months or next year. Just trying to get all of my ducks in a row and see how all of this is going to lineup.

I have been listening to music podcasts for many years.  It is the best way for me to discover new music that terrestrial and satellite radio does not provide.  Mostly I listen to Blues and Progressive Rock podcasts in my car.  Currently,

The BluzNDaBlood

Bandana Blues

Progzilla

European Perspective

Roots Rock Radio

@jszfunk6

I watched a few of Bonamassa’s Nerdville (Paul Stanley, Keb Mo, Eddie Trunk, Scott Ian, Myles Kennedy, Warren Haynes). Learned that Stanley appeared on Broadway in Phantom of the Opera.  Liked Warren’s story about Don Rickles when ABB appeared on the tonite show.

The podcasts I listed are more of  a DJ format with mostly music.
