If you are a fan of Phish check this out. I was there and it was something special to witness. The whole show is worth a listen.

I was there, too. Not a huge fan of the setlist but the overall precision, harmony and execution was something I had not seen from Phish in a long time, if ever.

They are entering the Dead 89-91 era in terms of finding that elusive balance between youth / enthusiasm and age / experience --- like a perfectly aged wine from a blockbuster vintage.

Northerly Island is such a phenomenal venue ---- there's nothing quite like it right now.

Listened to that show yesterday. Good stuff

Another example of it isn't what they play, it's how they play it (although I'll take Simple, Cities, and Slave any time)

I liked Northerly though being on the floor felt like I was standing in a parking lot. Can't complain about the view.

I agree with the 89-91 Dead comparison and was talking to my buddy about that. It is going to be a good night of music but they are older and different people so the playing wont be like 1997.

The Saturday and Sunday shows are near the top of my best Phish show list. Honestly of the shows I've seen they have all been good nights of music.

That's a damn good description. Well done.

Going to 4 of the MSG shows, and looking forward to it!
