Not just a big single and a bunch of fluff, a few good numbers, with some that are just so so or filler. Every song a gem. Don't bother listing every Beatles record, let's just assume that.

Eat A Peach
Idlewild South
Pronounced 'L?h-'nérd 'Skin-'nérd
American Beauty
Are You Experienced
Who's Next
Led Zeppelin 2
Bringin It All Back Home

Black Sabbath - Paranoid
Bruce Springsteen - Darkness on the Edge of Town
Robert Johnson - King of the Delta Blues Singers. Great first and last album

I'll go more recent in my selections. (the oldest being from 1992)

Grace - Jeff Buckley (1995)
Powder Burns - The Twilight Singers (2006) (all their records are perfect)
Ballads For Little Hyenas - Afterhours (2006)
Easy Tiger - Ryan Adams (2007)
Badmotorfinger - Soundgarden (1992)
Storybook - The Beautiful (1992)

All perfect in their own way.

Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs. I'm not a huge fan of I Am Yours, so I guess it's not perfect but it's damn close. Closer than any other record, that's for sure.

Coming from a different angle, Jay-Z's Reasonable Doubt is a perfect rap record.

It's only 33 minutes long, so other albums might beat it for quantity, but in my mind the most perfect album of all time is A Love Supreme. The most cohesive, perfectly realized long-form musical statement of the 20th century.

Abraxas and Santana III deserve some props in this category. That version of Santana could do no wrong.

At Fillmore East is the only ABB album I would describe as perfect, but a perfect double album is nothing to sneeze at.

The first Aquarium Rescue Unit record is absolutely perfect in all its glorious imperfection.
