Pearl Jam at MSG 5/1 & 5/2

Two great nights with Pearl Jam at MSG on Sunday and Monday. They are a heck of a band and boy can Mike McCready play the guitar. Two long shows back to back that were top notch. Had never seen them before and was very glad to be there! Not that they needed guests, but Rick Nielsen and Tom Peterson from Cheap Trick joined for Surrender and Sting joined later for Driven to Tears both on night 2. They played 3+hour sets of 30+songs with minimal overlap. I am still smiling from these shows.

Although I saw them a couple of times in the 90s I became more of a Pearl Jam fan in recent years accompanying my partner to gigs in the UK. Excellent live act and I've never seen an under par show. We have tickets to both nights at Wrigley Field in August.

I had GA for Monday nights show. It was incredible. Wife and I had a hoot, bouncing, singing along, yelling the occasional Rock Show!!!
Have seen Pjam on a regular basis since around 1998. IMO they are getting better with age when it comes to the live experience.
So many hi-lites. Great set list, Sting, Cheap trick (very few knew either tune played), McCready pulling out the bow a'la Jimmy Page in the song was awesome, great jams, great energy. I had never been to MSG before and it did not disappoint.
Pearl Jam is a must see.
