Peach Fest Lineup

Such a great lineup, wish I could go

i agree....i hope it is streamed again this year. i just couldn't pull the trigger for mountain jam even though it was pay what ya want. this looks like a very awesum festival. maybe best of the year?

In terms # of high quality bands, I'd say it's the deepest lineup of any festival this year.
Can't wait to see who shows up on who's stage. I could make a helluva dream team picking from those acts!

Nit-picking here, but how does String Cheese get top billing over the Mule?
And although I'm not a huge fan of either Umphrey's or .moe, but those 2 get arguably bigger followings and they are third billing...
Appreciate any insight from industry insiders on how these things get decided

Awesome lineup as you said. And in my opinion the best of any fests this summer. I would pick some over others but does it really matter? Just speculating but I would think at a festival SCI would get a higher following than Mule.
I don't think it means anything other than if one band gets to play longer than another you want to see.
Everything in Moderation. Including Moderation.

the toughest part of this festival is finding an hour to break away...there's always an awesome band to catch all day till after midnight ! Can't wait to see what Les Brers come up with this year and Greg together with String Cheese Incident and all the Dead renditions and Flux capacitor again, and the midnight shows,and...and...

I won't be there, but I'd I'd encourage people to check out Aqueous, a band towards the bottom of the lineup.
I've seen them a few times over the last year, and they have a nice proggy, jammy feel going, with well executed guitar and vocal harmonies.

Turkuaz is another one to check out....I heard a bit of their set from Mountain Jam last weekend on the SiriusXm broadcast. Good stuff.

Great to see Toots touring again.

Weakest lineup to date. Gotta cater to the younger crowd I guess..
Count me out.

I just saw part of their set at Summer Camp a few weeks back-they were good as well!

Young? How so? Most of these guys are older than us.

Count me out, the damn thing will probably be too loud also. 😉

I thought you guys were talking about the Peach Festival we just had here in Byron/Ft. Valley.
Had couple of concerts with some names you might have heard of before. the big one was the "Has Beens".
If you don't know who they are, you've missed a good band with a lot of History. Yep, that's' with a capitol H.
Think of a merger of StillWater and Doc Holiday and you've got the band. Lots of covers from both bands and other southern rock legends.

SCI crap (TWICE!)
MOE.
Crapton of wookie bands that I have never heard of...

Don't you realize that SCI is the sheet?
They and moe. both toured with the ABB. You may have heard of them anyway. 😉

too young,
yeh that Greg Allman & Jaimoe-just outta high school,String Cheese Inc & Warren those young 'whipper snappers',the Les Brers crew & Toots Mayal kids,& Joe Russo & Dark Star...as for the high volume I hear some old guys petitioning to cut the volume to half by 5 and curfew no later than 11. thinking of lowering the bright light levels and cutting out colored lights entirely.
The young bands and mixed crowd & midnight shows are what makes it a very cool festival.

I am old enough ( or at least on this site long enough) to remember how the ABB had to step it up after following MOE and sad enough because I saw MOE.

If Gregg and String Cheese don't play I'm No Angel, that would be the definition of a missed opportunity ...
