Today marks the 44th and 38th anniversary respectively of these 2 quite different and distinctive in style great guitarists. R.I.P.

Man oh man, Paul Kossoff, you could actually hear him digging craters behind the frets. Deathgrip.

I wonder were that was going. Big Kossoff fan. Rhoads was great as well. I would put him right there with EVH as far as influencing the generation of metal and hard rock players into the 80's and beyond.
Gotta love Over The Mountain....play this at 11 please!!!!

Craters behind the frets. Deathgrip. Sounds strange but seasoned guitar players get it. Translates into high praise of Paul Kossoff's strength and sustain.
