Nice version. I think Dreams was the first Gregg song the band worked up in March 1969.Â

I played the Dreams on the debut 1969 album in the car today and technically it's as good as any version I've heard.Â
Gregg's organ and vocals are fine. Jaimoe and Butch on drums and Berry Oakley on bass are letter perfect.Â
Duane Allman 's solo is a combination of slide and lead guitar and it is absolutely excellent. Very polished and accomplished playing.Â
Anyone else think the band knocked it out of the park on their first version of Dreams?Â
Fully agreed - recall being surprised, then not really surprised, to learn it’s all Duane’s playingÂ
