One Way Out from SkyvilleLive

Really enjoyed that. Gregg looked gaunt but his voice was very strong. Best singer of the bunch. Scott and the other guy on a 335 were playing some hot guitar.
This is 1986 when the ABB only did two shows that year with none in 1985 or 1987. But Gregg is singing well, Dickey, Dan Toler and Chuck are playing very well. I think the bass player is Bruce Waibel who was in Gregg's solo band at the time and committed suicide in 2003 at age 45.

This One Way Out has Berry Oakley playing bass and Chuck is on electric piano and man did the crowd give them a standing O at the end. Fillmore East went Gold and Eat A Peach was Platinum so it was bittersweet. The band had made it and would be even bigger next year but Duane was gone and they would loose Berry later that very month.

Derek, Dickey, Warren mix it up on One Way Out and Gregg sings and does a piano solo.

That was really good. Lot of talent on the stage.
BTW - The first guitar solo was played by Kenny Greenberg who is the session guitar player for most of the Skyville shows. I was in Nashville a couple years ago to record a CD's worth of my songwriter demo tunes, and Kenny played all the guitar leads. What a pleasure to have him do that.

Congrats! Now, could you help your brothers out?
Martin, will you and any other songwriters/band members, post links to a tune or two so that we can hear something fresh & new? Some of us have been struggling to find palatable music since the end of the ABB other than TTB; there was a thread once that got nowhere. Some have turned to jazz. I've ended up listening to Spanish radio & don't speak Spanish. Avoiding holiday music at all costs.
Thanks if you & some others can do it. I'm guessing there's a lot of talent here.
