Prior to last night's Gov't Mule show in Hengelo, Netherlands, Warren Haynes did a brief "in store" solo performance at near by's legendary old school record store "Pop Eye" (thanks Johan!!!). Due to the summer weather the short set was performed in a small shopping street. Fortunally plenty fans found out on time and made it to the store in time. I had to rush to the other side of my small country and made it on time too...but barely... because i just returned from a 2 day blues and roots festival (Moulin Blues Festival) which Gov't Mule headlined. I already had plans to travel to Hengelo for the Mule show anyway but i had to rush and catch a train to make it on time. And in good Mule fashion there were non or barely non songs repeated on saturday and yesterday's shows. The record store performance was only shortly prior to the soundcheck at the venue so it was notified in advance that this was not a meet & greet and there was no autograph session either. The store itself was normally closed on sunday so it was announced as a short solo performance and that was it.
Only a few minutes later i already found Warren prepared to sign my Christmas Jam 2008 poster and my vinyl "Man In Motion" inside the closed store! Muchos Gracios Warren.

Sound a bit "windy" but i bet more clips will surface.
