Hi everyone. Been out of the loop for awhile and am getting caught up on downloading many of the official Beacon live recordings.

I know the 2009 Beacon run was exceptional. But in terms of sound quality., are all the shows in that run top notch?

Also, how do the 2011, 2013, and 2014 Beacon shows sound... from a sound quality standpoint?

Thanks all!

Dave

Based on my listening experience, the SQ is kinda of mixed bag. Most are quite good. However, I have a few shows that are lacking. For example, 3/10/09 is a bit muddled. The 2011 shows with the Bill Graham announcements are a little uneven at the beginning.

I noticed on the 3/13/09 official live recording, “Ain’t No Love in the Heart of the City” appears to “fade in”. The segue from Sick and Tired has no fade outs, but Greggs first line seems to be joined in progress... plus the mix is lower for a couple of seconds.

Is this just me or was this deliberate? Just curious. Thanks
