NYC 50 - 3/10 MSG

" chicanery, skull duggery and general dirt bagging"
Welcome to NYC and the concert business. I think MSG was a reach for this show. As much as I love Derek, Warren and all involved, I don't consider them MSG star power. This was much better suited for the beacon unless they have some huge surprise up their sleeve.
That said..... This will be a great show and I'm sure you'll be glad you attended and won't think of it as a $ 150 loss by any means.
It's still odd that this was booked and announced with some teasers leading up but then little promotion.
Yes. Wait til the lights go down as stated. DO NOT ABSOLUTELY DO NOT ATTEMPT TO PURCHASE ANYTHING ON THE STREETS AROUND MSG from the characters out there before the show.

But this is starting to seem a little like the final ABB Beacon run. No guests, just the 7 players listed. I would not underestimate the ability of those 7 to put on a monster 3 hour concert by themselves.
They have many times b4 heaven knows - hopefully everyone got hooked up & is max stoked tmrw, yep this should be one fantastic show a la 10/27-28 2014 Beacon, also Nov. 2012 Orpheum shows Boston, also May 1994 Warfield Theatre SF shows.........

curious to see how many people actually attend. i bought 4 tickets and now 2 people backed out because of fear to be in a crowd. at 200 a ticket, i am out a lot of money.
I went to MSG 3 times last week for Ranger games but gather many people are scared crazy over the virus. Is probably hurting the resale market and i think there will be plenty of empty seats

What can I say, i am in NW Indiana, wont be there, still, excited as all shiat!!! I ain't no tech whiz, may look into the stream........Peace to All..........Specially them whose goin!!!!!!!

Will be interesting to see how many folks go and buy the cheap seats tomorrow at the gate?
Guessing there will be guests but does not really matter its the Brothers.

"If it it wasn't for bad luck, I wouldn't have no luck at all" seems like someone once said that. Also seems fitting I guess, that the Brothers having fought up many mountains and faced so much tragedy, would have their Celebrations damperd buy some God dammed, worldwide, deadly viral pandemic............Peace...........joe

Had to cancel my trip in from Alabama due to some travel recommendations where I work. I hate it, but had to do what I thought was right by the people who provide my way of living.
Lost some money on hotel and plane. Took a really good bath on my tickets, as I bought them day 1 from TM. Anyways, the way I look at it is that my misfortune is someone else's good fortune. They will be seeing a great show, in great seats, at a great price.
As for me and the wife...looks like a live stream on nugs.tv, cheaper refreshments, shorter lines to the restrooms...not to mention much cleaner too.
Hope everyone that made the trip has a great time!

Made decision to go late last week.
I bought a $115 round trip flight Friday. In tomorrow 10a LGA and out Wednesday 2:30 EWR.
I'm seeing hotel room prices drop in Manhattan and will pull trigger tonight. Waiting on ticket/seat for now. Figure I can get in the door for under $20 right now.
Super excited.

I just booked a room at the Best Western Premier on 36th for $80 - short walk to MSG. Can't believe how low the hotel prices have dropped. Scored floor seats this morning on Stubhub for 120/each including fees. Getting on a plan later today. Excitement meter jumped big-time today, tomorrow it's going to be red-lining!

We just decided to take the train up tomorrow and go to the show- virus fears aside- can't wait. If anyone is selling good seats let me know- we need to get 3 tickets

I have a $200 credit in VividSeats expiring soon, if anybody wants to make good use of it for tomorrow just let me know as tickets need to be bought from my account.

if anyone needs 2 tickets please PM me. I have two seats available as friends are afraid of the virus and cancelled on me. Seats were 279 each and i will sell them for 200 each and meet you outside MSG tomorrow. Let me know.

I can't wait. For one day I am going to ignore all the troubles of the world and lose myself in this.

I'm in for tomorrow. Section 225 but if I can find two extremely cheap floor seats on Stubhub for under $75, I am grabbing them up. Unlikely, yes, but you never know.
Be safe.

Getting ready to hit the airport in Cleveland in a few hours and join some buds that flew in yesterday. A short but oh so sweet trip. Looking forward to hanging with fans and becoming one with the music. Really appreciating everyone who had anything to do with making this happen.

If anybody is trying to get down on the floor I have two tickets in sec 3 I am looking to trade for 100 level loges.
Going with my father in law who hurt his foot so want to get him to a section where people might be sitting.

Any good recommendations for some preshow drinks and food near the garden?

Wherever you are coming from for this show, take care and thoroughly enjoy the music, the vibe, the people, the band, the city, and have a damn good time.
