Hi folks!
Has anyone signed up for tonight's live stream? The HD is 30 bucks and the 4k is 50 bucks.
Just wondering if there are any surprises like fees, taxes, sur-charges, etc.

I think I'll sign up but hoping the production is a nice steady camera that follows correctly and shows the relevant musician. (As opposed to showing Horn Section during Haynes Solo)
Random thought....if Warren appeared in a Star Wars movie would he be "Haynes Solo"??

Or, I could sit on the dock and listen to the original lineup.

Anyway, to those who attend, enjoy and have a great, safe evening!!

Is this something you can watch on the TV...or would you have to connect or mirror a computer/tablet to the TV for viewing? Some TVs have Apps, I guess I can look. My laptops do not have HDMI out and I haven't had good results from mirroring.

Solution home nugs.net Solutions Live Webcast Pay-Per-View Help
Which devices are compatible with the Pay-Per-View to watch on my TV?

Modified on: Wed, 18 Sep, 2019 at 8:32 AM

SMART TV's with proprietary software (like Samsung's Tizen and LG's WebOS) are NOT compatible with nugs.net streams and may not work properly.

There are many options for watching a Pay-Per-View on your TV. Here are some suggestions:

HDMI - most desktop and laptop MACs and PCs have an HDMI port. HDMI 1.3 or later will pass both digital audio and video in one cable from your computer directly to your TV or A/V Receiver. You may need to adjust your Audio output setting in your Control Panel. Here's a guide to get you started.
AppleTV - Download the nugs.net APP from the AppleTV App Store or "Airplay" from iOS devices or "Mirror" from your MAC browser.
VGA or DVI (Monitor Out)- many desktops and laptops have a port for connecting a computer monitor. Many Plasma and LCD TVs and A/V Receivers have similar ports on them to accept a video signal directly from your computer. You will also need to send audio to your A/V Receiver or TV via an 1/8th inch headphone-type cable.
ChromeCast - "Cast" from the Google Chrome browser on your PC or MAC. *Chromecasting from mobile devices is NOT supported.
Android or iOS devices - Watch on your device using the mobile site or the nugs.net app under My Webcasts.
ROKU, FireTV and Android TV - Watch on your device by installing the Qello Stingray Concerts app, navigate to the LIVE section and login using your nugs.net credentials. *Amazon Fire Sticks are NOT supported.

AppleTV - Download the nugs.net APP from the AppleTV App Store

Thanks for this. My wife has an apple TV box upstairs I can bring to the basement. That should work out well.

Wish Derek hadn’t done that “bring it down” thing he does on DKMW. He’s got to stop doing that so much.

That said Derek sounds EXCELLENT tonight

Derek is in top form tonight.

Tight, melodic, not a note wasted and, of course, lightning speed and ferocity.

Dreams is going to be a monster tonight.

Incredible show, so many highlights, Derek & Warren truly on fire. Chuck & Reese
really nice additions. Miss Gregg's presence, vocals but Warren did great job.

I bought the 4k option and it was worth it's weight in gold. Brilliant sound, super sharp image that filled a 72" screen, and no interruptions via wifi signal all night. A great experience

On a related note, last night solidified in my mind that I need to switch back to an Apple TV system. We are an apple device family and I was convinced recently to install Roku's.

Never again - had to hillbilly our way around the Roku's to be able to watch last night. Pain in the ass.

I did the HD stream and it was very clear with just a bit of latency which was probably due to my ISP. Definately satisfied with the nugs product.

I gotta say two things....One, that show was just a tad less than what I was expecting and although a superb night, I did not see the big energy and smiles that I had hoped for. I just thought they'd look happier! I missed the first three tunes. Did anyone ever introduce the band other than Jaimoe? Other than the photo montage, was there any acknowledgement of the original band members?

Secondly, (please don't throw me out for voicing my opinion) although Oteil is an incredible bassist and has a huge role to fill, I'm just not a fan of his six string sound and style on ABB tunes. On the six string, he just seemed to park around the 7th position and play across the fretboard as opposed to up and down. I'm old school and crave that big "Oakley Open A" sound where you can hear the strings bangin off the board! I noticed this mostly during AWTNM. To me, that clean sound up the neck just seems to whitewash the overall sound a bit. Oh wait, HE was the one who was on the stage and NOT me! And, I did hear the thunder when he started Whippin Post. Smile
I am completely respectful and in awe of Oteil's playing as well as every person on that stage last night.

Al in all a historic and great show. One can only hope for more.......

Hey everybody, here's hoping we all have good health and see this crisis pass!

The production was anything but steady. It was like somebody on bad drugs who couldn’t stay focused on anything. Whoever was working those cameras missed everything relevant. Just had to be patient and wait till the right camera came back around. Shame too because the 4K image was the best I’ve seen. You’d think the person who has control would have some knowledge about the band or music but it was like watching the show through the eyes of someone wasted, meandering around.

How long afterwards can I watch the show?

Modified on: Wed, 19 Jun, 2019 at 8:49 PM

Video On Demand - VOD links are now available directly from your Stash for a limited time - posted ASAP after each show ends. The new VOD link is usually posted within 15-30 minutes, sometimes sooner, always ASAP. You can watch the live webcast and once the show is over, everyone who has ordered the live webcast will have access to the on-demand video from your Stash for a limited time. Once you start the VOD you can access it for 48 hours. After that your link expires.
