I guess it is a semi-live album.
"The album will also include highlights from Young's extensive discography, with new musical overdubs added to the mixes as well as a host of nature-inspired sounds.
According to a press release, bears, birds, crickets, bees, horses, cows, and "sounds of the earth" can all be heard throughout the album, juxtaposed with "city sounds" like car horns."
2 CD TRACK LISTING:
1. Mother Earth
2. Seed Justice
3. My Country Home
4. The Monsanto Years
5. Western Hero
6. Vampire Blues
7. Hippie Dream
8. After The Gold Rush
9. Human Highway
10. Big Box
11. People Want to Hear About Love
12. Wolf Moon
13. Love & Only Love

i love Neil & his music but this seems...ugh....

I'll likely pick it up, but I have concerns about the added ambiance.

Wow -- if his electronica take of Mr. Soul from the Trans album is out there, this sounds even more so -- could be cool...

People need to stop dosing the poor guy.
Moooooo
Woof Woof
Ding Dong

I've loved everything Neil has done. I even saw him at Radio City on the Greendale tour. It was the weirdest thing I have seen at a rock show but it wasn't too bad. Probably the closest I'll ever get to see a Broadway show.
But after they cleared the stage of all the props and the actors, Crazy Horse came out for the second half of the show and they just rocked to the old stuff.
I love the fact that Neil does whatever he wants to do. I haven't disliked anything he has put out. Springsteen is kind of like that.
To each their own.
Everything in Moderation. Including Moderation.

I also saw Greendale at Radio City and really enjoyed it , the worst part of the show was people yelling out hits they wanted hear during the Greendale segment , and yes he rocked out after that , great show .
