Gregg Allman’s new record, Southern Blood, is set for release in January 2017. The album will mark the first from Allman since his 2011 effort, Low Country Blues.
The new record was recorded this year at the legendary Fame Studios in Muscle Shoals, AL, with producer Don Was. Early this year.

It was supposed to be out in October originally, I think.

It sounds like from early interviews that Gregg and Scott wrote a couple of songs together and are doing a different version of love like kerosene. Not sure what the rest of the album will be like.
