New Dead and Company dates

While I think I am now retired from Dead related shows a new tour announced for those so inclined.

"Travel Packages" and "VIP Tickets"… far cry from paying $15 for a Red Rocks show or showing up at Berkeley and kicking it on the tennis courts with the music from the show piped in; now that was a party scene!
All that being said, seeing them play at Folsom Field would be fun.

I recall a Grateful Dead show at Nassau Coliseum in the late 1970's.
At halftime Phil Lesh came out and implored everyone to go get tickets for tomorrow nights show at the box office in the back.
Ticket were like 5.50. I said OK, I'm free tomorrow.
These days I don't travel, and prefer venues of less than 500 people.
But the Fenway vid I saw the other week people seemed to be having fun.

I likely won't be lining up to see this but glad to see the band members are feeling energized about something again to announce such an ambitious tour. Happy for them

I missed their last run as Dead and Co but heard great things about John Mayer despite my initial skepticism. So I'll definitely try and catch this one.
I'm glad to see they're playing at Lakewood in Atlanta. I've always enjoyed seeing shows there. And it's not far from where I live!

The lsd show,I believe,at the gorge(?),was superb.I really like this band...most of the time.
Well,I'm eager for another couch tour

Last year's shows in NY were spectacular. I will certainly try to catch this one. Pit area would nice I'm not certain any will be available by the time tickets go on sale to the general public.

Really not into the GD or any of its off shoot bands , but I would like to hear from some of the fans on John Mayer being in the band and how well do they fit together.
Everyone has a plan, till you get punched in the face,

I went to three shows last year and thought they were great. Mayer's voice can be offputting, but he can play, and he doesn't go out of his way to just copy Jerry (something I thought Trey was inclined to do during Fare Thee Well). The three core members are feeding off the young guys, and they are having a ball.

When i first listened i thought i'd hate it because of Mayer...they are quite good & Mayer's playing is excellent.
@ 1:45:56 the show starts-this was their best set imo from that tour:
