New Ben Sparaco album coming in January

Hey everybody, hope you don't mind some shameless self promotion. I know a lot of people here saw me over the summer with Butch and quite a few bought my EP.
My first full length record called Wooden is coming out on January 13th. This is a pretty big departure from my usual four piece jam rock stuff. I'd consider it more of an experimental Americana record. Lots of strings (fiddle, mandolin, banjo) and acoustic guitar, but there's still some heavy jazz, world music, and psychedelic rock influences as well as electric guitar playing.
It was recorded at the same studio that Alabama Shakes did their first record at and it was produced by Bruce Hornsby and Warren Haynes' fiddle/mandolin player. Some really cool special guests will be announced in the coming weeks as well that I know lots of you will be excited about.
Pre-order for the CD is available on my website bensparaco.com now. iTunes pre-order and Amazon pre-order will be available at the beginning of December. For more updates you can like my Facebook page and visit my website. I'll be touring in support of the record in January/February so keep an out out for that too.
The video trailer on Youtube features a bunch of pictures from the sessions and snippets of three songs. Hope you enjoy!

My friends and I had the pleasure of listening to your set at Wanee. Our camp site was right by the mushroom stage. Such a warm, vibrant tone coming out of that guitar. Couple hours later I head that unmistakable guitar again. Turns out you were sitting in with somebody else's band. Anyhow... looking forward to checking out the new album. Also looking forward to seeing you jam with Albert Castiglia and everyone at the Sunshine Music festival after party at the funky biscuit.

I was impressed with Ben, when I watched him with Butch.
